1000 years after the Goddess' death, the world sits torn between humans and demigods. Disgruntled humans who did not recieve Her blessings began trafficking and harvesting parts of the demigods She left behind. Caught in the middle is the last phoenix, hiding among humans in a quiet village as a fisherman. Clouded by his need for freedom and his hot overheating head, Phynix ignores the warning of a demon merc and his human father, and heads out into the night despite the lingering danger.
