An old grieving serpent known as Nidhogg lost his young son in a war against the giants. He buried his body to grow a new tree and while he was in a long depressed sleep, his son's body was stolen. After traveling across seas in search of his son's corpse he runs into a high-class doctor named Otis and feels a sudden connection.
