As a child Nina watched her parents grow apart, feeling unsafe in her own home she wished for a better life. A mysterious boy named Shido appeared in Nina's dream, he asked her to help free him from the shackles that held him. After breaking him free Nina awoke in a strange world. There she met the giraffe boy named Twiga, they soon became friends, but now Nina finds herself afraid of losing the new friends that she has made.
