Morana and Lucia grew up together in a cold orphanage and became inseparable. As they grew older, Morana developed feelings for Lucia, however she was too afraid to accept her feelings in their deeply religious country. Unable to confess, she pushed Lucia away until they separated. Years later, Morana finds Lucia living peacefully as a nun in a remote church. Hoping to stay close to her again, Morana joins the church, but her worsening mental state is mistaken for possession, leading to tragedy.
