Evie is the "artificial consciousness" of the AI-powered interstellar rover Promethean-1. Mahin is her human designer/engineer and best friend. They're part of a crew that ends up on a remote planet with zero life form readings. Evie faces a race against time as she tries to defend the ship and the crew against a mysterious foreign code threatening to tear the ship's systems apart... and possibly the designer of the malicious code. The question is: how long can they hold out?
