David, the Shepherd boy. David, the boy who killed Goliath with nothing but a band and a rock. David, the king who sang praises to the Lord. David, who became the man after God's own heart. David, the lyre player. David, who slayed tens of thousands. David, who ran from Saul. David, who danced before the Lord. David, who lusted after Bathsheba. Who killed Uriah. David, who cried. David, who mourned. David, who grieved. David, whose very soul was knit half to Jonathan's. This is his story.
