Clove, an overworked art student, avoids sleep due to nightmares and constant strain. Till a rainy evening, she saves a wounded griffin-like creature named Puffkin, unaware that it can enter dreams. They assist each other in overcoming anxieties and terrible memories, and her nightmares are prevented. With Puffkin at her side, she progressively faces her fears, dreams, and heals.
