This short story is a spin-off based on Amelia and the Crown of Xibalbá by Monfa. In a remote valley, a bell tower stands where water should not yet be. At night, a young girl hears something no one else does: a sound without a source, a vibration without echo. While the world around her sleeps, the valley seems to breathe. Walls tremble. Glass quivers. Silence thickens. As officials reassure and routines continue, the sound persists—patient, recurring, unanswered.
